Aluminum foil bag, also known as aluminum foil packaging bag or barrier bag, is a high-performance packaging bag composed of multiple materials. It is not just an "aluminum bag", its core value lies in its excellent protective performance.
Common structures include:
Three layer structure (most common): PET/AL/PE
Outer layer (PET/nylon): Provides mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, tear resistance, and is suitable for printing.
Intermediate layer (AL aluminum foil): The core barrier layer provides light blocking, oxygen blocking, and moisture blocking functions. Usually, a thickness of 7-9 micrometers (μ m) can play a critical barrier role.
Inner layer (PE/CPP): heat sealing layer, ensuring that the bag can be tightly sealed and safely in contact with the contents. CPP is more suitable for high-temperature cooking.
Four layer structure (higher requirement): PET/AL/nylon/PE
Adding a layer of nylon further enhances the puncture resistance and durability of the bag, commonly used for packaging food or heavy parts with bones, edges, and other materials that may puncture the packaging.
