When Does Southeast Asia Make Sense?

To be fair, there are scenarios where Southeast Asia deserves consideration. When your order volumes are very large and spec requirements are modest, Southeast Asia's labor cost advantage shows up. Or if your end market is in Southeast Asia itself, sourcing locally saves on freight.
